Long Separation

So Kyle left this morning for North Dakota and will be gone at least one month. One whole month--that's crazy right. He is a diesel mechanic for an oil company and has to go where the work is. He is such a good man, husband, and daddy. I know I am so blessed to have him. So one month, at least....normally, the days of month fly by and I think where did the time go? I don't think that will be the case this month. We have been apart before....when we started dating he was only home on Sunday, and an occasional Saturday too, but this is a little much. 30 days +- 5 days. The longest we have been apart is 17 days. That was so hard on my boys. They miss their daddy so much when he's gone. No fighting, wrestling, or playing with him. No daddy reading their bed time story and praying with them before they go to bed, which by the way has to be the single most precious sight in the world.....the man I love praying with my two babies, listening as they talk to God, the very God who gave me them. It's AMAZING!! So please remember Kyle in your prayers for safe travel and work. And remember me and the boys too! This will be one long separation.....

    Praying the separation goes by fast! We're 3 months down..9 more to go!

    We are praying. I can't imagine Randall being gone that long, but I know it's hard. I totally agree with the single most precious sight is a father praying with his children! So glad I get to follow another blog!

    The ONLY way you get through it is with God in the forefront and it sounds like you've got that! Honestly, it's amazing what you can do when you know you have to! This is our 2nd time and I'm sure it's not our last! Just praying we get through this one first. Through God's Grace, we will! Yes, a praying father is by far the most precious thing. We now do it over webcam and I think that's even more precious!! =)=) Praying for you guys.
